CHEF
Roderick
Growing up as a country boy in the rural South, Chef Roderick’s love for family and food began with his grandmother Mae Francis Countryman, affectionately known as Madear.
As A Military Dependent,
Chef was exposed to a melting pot of cultures and food and, at the age of 18, the floodgates of the culinary world were opened to him. Chef found joy and happiness in the kitchen, which not only reminded him of Madear and the excitement which food brought to people but gave him the plate as a canvas to express his growing creativity.
As He Fine-Tuned His Craft
he had the opportunity to travel across the country opening and working in restaurants, fine hotels, convention centers and sporting venues.
He soon had the privilege of providing food
for large and small events from Super Bowl XLII and the 2008 NBA All-Star Game to personal backstage catering for various celebrities.
Chef Roderick pays homage to his Southern roots and incorporates his extensive experience in the world of fine dining across three decades as he brings that joy and excitement of beautiful food to you.
